With Ila’s recent trip back to New York to visit the Stoutenburgh house as well as Hyde Park and the cemetery, we now have a wealth of photos and historical information to share with you. Please be patient as we sort through all of this. Editing the photos to fit the website and be presentable is a major job all by itself. With special thanks to Mrs. James Spratt for sending us the photos, we’ve now been able to add a Founding Family page to our photo album. She sent photos of the portraits of Jacobus Stoutenburgh and Margaret Teller. As you may have already noticed, they’ve also been added to the background of the site. Please keep in mind that it’s only through this kind of sharing of information, photos, documents, etc. that we can continue to expand this site as a true historical resource.
